It depends on my mood/state of mind. Some days I have more clarity than others.
Some days I go out shooting and come back and process the raw files immediately, but then let them sit in a folder for days or weeks or months. I come back to them to see how I feel later, once the emotion of the moment has passed and I can be more critical of the images. Or less critical! hah.
Other times I'll know immediately that I want to share a photo, and I'll upload the JPG straight out of the camera (when I shoot RAW+JPG that is).
Right now I have a massive backlog of RAW files to process, and one of my cameras has a month's worth of photos on it's memory card that I haven't backed up yet.
